Contemplating a project and extra parts I\'ll have

I'm thinking about getting two more Jeeps to combine into one project vehichle. A 1979 Grand Wagoneer Limited in good shape with a snapped rod (but still runs) and a 1950 Willys Wagon 4x4 in good shape.

I want to put the '79 interior into the '50, and then put the '50 body on the '79's frame and drivetrain.

I'll have a complete '79 body to sell (only a couple little rust spots, otherwise nice!) and a '50 Wagon frame and running gear (original, by all acounts, 6-cylinder. Swapped in 2wd auto tranny.)

I'm in Florida, does anybody need these parts? I haven't bought the trucks yet, and it may be a while (months even) before I do (if I do). I'm just trying to figure out how to get rid of the bulky spare parts quickly without junking them.

Well, I'm not going to get that G-Wagon since the engine is crap. I really want to make a tow-rig using the Wagon body though so I need to find a new donor vehicle.

More immediately...I need to fix the Wrangler and then fix and sell the Postal...

I've got a 60 Willy Wag and a 66 FSJ Wag. After a quick look at both of them I'd say you have your work cut out. I hope you are good at fabricating and fitting. if you decide to do this let me know how it works out.
