I'm from the short wheelbase page. I'm looking for a 4th car for my oldest daughter and found this on the web. JimmyZ.

Re: Variations on a Theme

I have wanted for a long time to turn the cab of my j10 into a removable hardtop. The project seems doable, as I have low sheet metal standards. The only part that concerns me is the window frames. If I was to do this, I would want to re do the window channels on the top so that the channels are on the top, not on the doors. The gretel concept would look stupid with frames over the doors, right? My truck is my primary vehicle, and I need the cabin to be tight for the maine winters. Anyone done this? brendan
