Axle Wrap bars...Pics

I have been busy fabbing parts for my FSJ...since I needed re-enforcements on the drivetrain. The difference with the axlw wraps is AWESOME...much more instant power to the ground and rapid repsonse is very noticeable. I will be fabbing a "hinged" front mount soon cuz the solid front mount does limit articulation a bit... if you run 35's or better I HIGHLY suggest fabbing a setup or buying one if you can find one. JC Whitney sells a setup for $67, but won't fit a lift over 4"... well worth the $$$...

Clean instalation...But how do you plan to hinge them? I've seen similar setups using old shackels at the front to allow them to swing, But under real heavy acceleration the bar would pull back and alow the spring to wrap up. You might be better off just goung with an ovesized hiem joint(something with a bigger hole than the bolt) although it might get a little noisy.

Use a joint for a 3-point-hitch deal off a tractor. Get one with a zerk fitting. You can pick them up at about any tractor store for cheap, and they are strong!
