\"Honcho\" axles question

I'm looking at a J truck and all the guy knows about it is that its a Honcho. it looks like a late 70's model, has a 304, and auto. i was tyring to figure out what axles it should have and whether the front is going to have a drivers or passengers side drop, also if the rear will be centered or offset. i'm looking at this for axles for my cj-5 and need a drivers drop in the front and a centered rear. thanks,

Re: \"Honcho\" axles question

It should have 6 bolt dana 44s front and rear with the front being a passenger drop. You need to find out what transfer case it has to determine if it has an offset rearend. Q tracs are offset, dana 20s are not. Not positive if dana 20s were the optional tcase or not.

Actually, q-tracs are offset, dana 20's are offset less. The FSJ's still have a little offset for the gas tanks.

Re: \"Honcho\" axles question

See, this is what I get for going on the fullsize board. Thanks for the correction. I will now go work on my Commando. I still think I know what I am doing there...
