dana 44 (vacuum) convert to manual hubs?

I just purchased a select trac dana 44 out of a wagoneer (82) and I would like to convert it to manual hubs prior to the swap. Does anyone know the best/easiest way this can be done? I am open to the idea of incorporating an arb or ox locker...I just need the other technical info regarding the internal mechanics.

Re: dana 44 (vacuum) convert to manual hubs?

Bringing this BTT for you. I wanted to know the same thing. I can get a Waggy front D44, but it has the vac disco and I was wondering if there is anything other than the carrier and diff cover that needs to be changed to make it a conventional diff.

Thanks,
