Re: Lifts and tires?

A full-size Grand or a mid-size Wagoneer/Limited?

Re: Lifts and tires?

You could do it with a 4 inch lift and lots of fender trimming but less drivetrain mods, ie: brake lines, driveshafts, etc... or go for the 6 inch lift and only slight fender clearancing but would likely have to go for longer driveshafts and brake lines and ebrake cables etc... By the way what gears do you have? If its an 84 you might have @ 2.70s which will be struggling to move 35s. Look over on www.ifsja.org theres lots of good info and tech plus some real nice people. Re: Lifts and tires?

Skyjacker makes a good 4" lift kit for your truck, and even offers replacement spring packs. A body lift would be needed, though. Otherwise, you'll have to cut the sheetmetal. (what Dfjeepster said.)
