AMC V8 Fuel line routing

I had an EFI kit installed on my 360 and decided to remove it and put a carb back on. Can someone paint a picture for me on how the stock fuel lines are routed? It's been too long and I dont have any good photos.

Should it be fuel pump to fuel filter (side w/ single inlet or "IN" text), then center outlet goes to carb and offset outlet of filter goes back to fuel tank?

Re: AMC V8 Fuel line routing

Your right, but the offset one that your talking about should be turned to where it's at the top and the inline should be just that. Kinda like an over and under. At least that's what the factory TSM says anyway.
One other note, if I was to re-route my fuel lines again on my 360. Re-route them away from the exhaust. Or insulate them. I and a few other 360 owners had severe cases of vapor lock up in Colorado. Go here www.ifsja.org

Good Luck.

Re: AMC V8 Fuel line routing

Thanks for the info! Does your manual say why the offset port of the fuel filter needs to be on top?

I checked out the other forun but I didn't find a search feature. Where should I look? What kind of symptoms to you experience with vapor lock?

Thanks again!

Actually I found the info on vapor lock. Interesting. I will be re-routing everything tomorrow. Thanks again!
