327?

hi im looking at getting a 64 327 out of a j3000 and was wondering what there is as far as parts or performance and if i can get rid of that goofy exhaust setup thanks

AFIK there are few/no performance parts being made for the Jeep 327. You may be able to find some used stuff, but it's a crap shoot. In case you didn't know, the Jeep(Rambler) 327 is not the same as the Chevy 327 and there is no parts interchangeability.

there are aftermarket pistons and rods available, as far as i know headders are too, Guys on bulltear.com willl know where to find stuff, But amc 327 has that goofy bellhousing genI nothing after 71 fits it [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

really though at 235hp the amc 327 is a great little motor, guys make parts for it, i wouldnt be afraid to use it, in fact i have one laying in my pile if you need stock parts, also guys on the amc forum willl have parts
