727 transmission question

Can anyone tell me what year 727 transmission will bolt up to a Dana 300 transfercase? What vehicle do I need to find?

83-91 any 727 that was used in grand waggies and j trucks

thats actually 1980 -1991 any full sized Jeep with a V8
( some 6 cyl Full sized trucks aldo, but they mostly had smaller TF trannys (999,904)

Hey Ricky your not thinking about going to an automatic are you???? Thought you hated those things [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] You want to get one that is non-lockup. Some of them are and some of them aren't the only way to tell is input splines and the valve body is different. I have an extra input shaft and valve body though if you run into that problem let me know and I will hook you up......(don't have a extra 727 right now though) [img]images/graemlins/givemebeer.gif[/img]
