Willys Wagon on stretched CJ frame...doable???

Well, I was going to put the 49 Wagon on a K5 Blazer frame, but now am thinking of stretching my cj5 by 18 inches and putting it there. THe 5 is already built up with 35SXs, 4" lift, T-18, etc. Stretching the frame is easy, BUT...how difficult will the rest of it be. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. If you think the K5 swap would be easier, please advise. THANX.

Re: Willys Wagon on stretched CJ frame...doable???

Would be a shame to cut up a good CJ5. I actually think that the K5 would be a better Idea, unless you are going to beef up the CJ frame when you stretch it, then you are talking about a lot of work.
The more you move the axels apart the more beef you are going to need to add to the 5 frame. Where if you get the K5 Frame, then it will already be long enough, and you won't have to beef it. You will be weeks ahead befor you even get started.
