Shifting Problems

I have a 72 wag. For the past few months I have had difficulty getting 1st and rev. Recently I have not been able to get 1st or rev at all. I've checked the linkage and this does not seem to be the problem. I'm thinking it could be the remote control shaft in the steering column but I have no idea how to adjust or fix this. Any ideas? Thanks! Ken

Re: Shifting Problems

Just somthing to keep in mind, in case maybe you haven't done it yet, but check the fluid lev in the Trans. Sometimes that is a magic fix for an auto trans. Just a thought

mystery mechanic, is that your jeep you have that link to??? What transmisitoin does it have in it, and how much are you looking to get for it. That 304 could be a nice upgrade for my YJ.
