Re: Front Axle 74 J-10

have a front axle out of a fs cherokee chief (complete) would be the same axle altho you might need to relocate the spring saddles. and yes it is quad. but I think you are a little far to come get it. if you want to pay for shipping I would let you have it at a very low figure just let me know what you can budget for it

Re: Front Axle 74 J-10

I thought the Chief had a wider axle than the regular truck or Cherokee.I'll check with the old guy and see what he thinks. He wants me to help fix his but I told him it would be better to get another one.Shipping would be a bear but better than having it just sit.I'll keep in touch,Thanks!

Eugene, there is a Junkyard in North Mississippi that is FULL of them, he probably has 100 Qtrack trucks out there.

Cherokee Chief should be a W/T... which means it's the same width as a J truck....

OzarkJeep--That's not too far, depending on where in Miss.Do you have an address or a town or a narrower location,I'd be interested. Can't ever have too many parts sources with an out of production vehicle.

Right outside of Corinth, MS
on east on Hwy 72 a few miles, then turn south on a littel county road, youll see signs all over for "Arville Browns auto salvage"

you can call him and ask, BUt I guarantee you, he will call you "cuz" and swear he doesnt have any Jeeps, his yard is HUGE, and he doesnt know what he has got. He used to charge $200 for an axle
