lift on 65 wag

I am having custom springs built 2" over stock and 1 guage heavier. will these new springs require any driveshaft, steering, or brake modifications. Still unsure of what size tire I should go with. any suggestions?

Thanks,

Why not just get the Rancho 2.5" Add-A-Leafs... they are full length leafs.. and you can tell them the width... about $60 a pair.... it'll save you some money...

31's on 7-8" rims will fit just fine...

Re: lift on 65 wag

Thanks for the tip for future rigs but my original leafs where so far gone I paid the price to avoid the scrap search. When I get her back on the trail I'll post some pics. People tell me she's a dino but she has yet to let me down. So I must keep her happy. That old girl was my first jeep got her for 600 dollars back in 97 drove her coast to coast 3 times, countless trails and adventures.
1 carb rebuild
1 water pump
1 alternator
routine maintenance
five years of loyalty
time she gets the overhaul she deserves.
sorry to ramble but what can I say I love my 65

Re: lift on 65 wag

Whith 2 inches you should not need any modifications, maybe consider longer shocks if the droop is being limited. I would think 31 x 10.5 's would clear, maybe rub on the back at stuff depending on wheels. One of the Bob's over at ifsja runs a narrow 33, 33 x 9.50, on stock suspension with 2 inch block on the back, the narrower tire tucks in during stuffand clears fine.
