SOA w/ clocked QT using stock driveshaft?

Hey, i was looking at doing a spring over on my 74 Wagoneer and looking at Bruce Stanley's page http://www.nvcs.com/bstanley/wagsoa.htm he says he had to lengthen his front driveshaft, i was wondering if i could just clock the QT, yes it would be more vulnerable, but i could just build some armor for it.

Where is a good source for extended brakelines for this rig?

Thanks for any help and any thoughts or comments are appreciated.

Tom

Re: SOA w/ clocked QT using stock driveshaft?

Tom I have a 81 Honcho that I SOA front and put 4" SuperLift, put a 3.5 Rough Country kit in back and made brackets for a rear flip, is help me take the blocks off. I run 44's FunCountrys on 12x15 eagles, I clocked my np208 one notch down a made a special skid plate/bracket. Just keep an eye on your Tcase fluids. Try asking for GMC/Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 or a 4x4Blazer brake lines. I found that they work cause they are longer. I do have front disc, so try it and see if that helps. BorderBandit over and out!!
