where does it go?

Hello fellow FSJers.

Question. My 1970 J-3000 Gladiator Buick 350 came factory with manual brakes. I upgraded to power using all original Jeep parts (lower pedal, booster mount, master cylinder). The master cylinder and booster are now where the window washer fluid bag hung. Where did they put the washer bag on power brake models with the 350?

Also, the master cylinder has the outlets for the brake lines facing the engine. I had to remove the stove from the exhaust manifold to the air cleaner to make room for the brake lines. Did 350 models with power brakes have a different air cleaner/air stove setup? adifferent master cylinder with lines facing the fender?

thanks for the help

Re: where does it go?

Hello Curt, how's things,
The washer bag on my '67 is directly to the left of the master cylinder. I think that's where I remember seeing yours at. It's a little tight, especially if you fill it, but this '67 is bone stock.
Teh brake lines on the master cylinder exit on the right side, but I have a different air cleaner setup for the 327.
I just came across a vintage Four Wheeler mag from june 1970 that has the jeep gladiator road test in it. There's also a straight on shot of the engine compartment with the 350. If you want to look at it or borrow it, give me a holler. How did you ever come out with the hubs? One of my wheel cylinders went south in the front and I'm afraid all of them are bad, so I may be pulling both hubs again, now I'm afraid I won't be able to get the tool.
