TH400 Vacuum Modulator
I recently swapped a trans and case from a 78 Wagoneer to a 79 Cherokee. My problem is shifting, not real sure if it is a smoked trans, or the vacuum modulator is out of adjustment. Does anybody know if there is a common setting for the adjustment, or turning the screw in increases, or decreases shift points? The reason for the swap, the wagoneer had front lock-out hubs with 3.54 gears and a mile marker part-time kit in the case
