Re: what would something like this cost?

Depending on the amount of rust and what is in the drivetrain and condition you can prolly look for $1k to $4k for a WT Cherokee. Parting out would be OK if you know some folks that need some stuff, but if it is in as decent shape as the Chero in the pics, I would keep her together and sell that way. I know I would be interested depending on the location and $$.

The high dollar items would be the D300 T-case, T-18 or T-18a Manual tranny (especially with the granny 1st gear) both of those are a possibility on a WT Chero, but not a certainty. The amc 360 is real common, I would be interested if it had the 258 myself.

I hope that helps

Re: what would something like this cost?

its value depends on a lot of things, if its a th400 Qytack, its worth alot les than if its a T18 D20

if its a 401 its worth alot more than a 258, if its a wore out 401 thats been bored to 0.60 is worth alot less.

if its rusty, its worth not alot.

I sold a 1980 Wide cherokee 2 years ago, without engine, for $200 the outside looked better than that one in the pic, and the interior was about 5 out of 10 condition.

I do wish I had kept the tires ( 4 matching tires on 6 lug black wagone wheels) but I sold it to a friend so I let it all go to make it easier.

too small to be seen, and too big to control, and treated like a walking bomb...
