Re: skid plate
There is some stuff that hangs down. Usually the gas tank factory skid plate is shot (as well as the frame by the tank) and needs to be replaced. The transmission and transfer case sit smack in the middle of where everything comes up as the wag crawls over obstacles. The oil pan is recessed in the frame rail and protected by the front axle as much as this is possible. The rockers are prone to damage as the G-wag is a long wheelbase vehicle. The spare tire is a good thing to move into the back when wheeling as it will catch the deflection off the back side. Those seem to be the cheif areas of concern. Oh, and the tailpipe coming off the back passenger side can get crunched on the rear deflection. I hope that helps
