Wagy stalls out

First off, I takes me 3 tries to get the Wagoneer to run. The first 2 times it stalls out right away. After it "warms up" for 10 minutes I put it I drive, step on the gas and it just konks right out. Is it flooding, is the carb not adjusted correctly....

Re: Wagy stalls out

It sounds like the carburetor, but check to be sure the spark plugs and the rest of the ignition is in good shape. Check the gaskets at the carb/manifold and the main bowl/throttle body for vacuum leaks. You didn't mention what carb you have. Early ones are simple and its easy to overhaul them. Then you can do all your adjustments. There could be other causes like a bad fuel pump, worn timing chain, and an intake manifold leak, either at a vacuum line or the gasket. Start out with the easy stuff first.

I agree. Sounds like it could be an intake leak.
