again with the engine questions

Someone told me, after a few too many beers, that a small block chevy would bolt right up to the 727 that is currently sitting behind my 360. the setup is sitting in an 81 cherokee laredo.

any truth to this?
I have a fresh 350 chev sitting in my garage that would help with my resto of the Cherokee if this is true.

Re: again with the engine questions

It won't bolt up unless its from a 4 cylinder? Im not sure though I think there is a adapter to the 727 - since there is a AMC V8 to chevy trans adapter.--- best thing to do would be too look in the AA catalog
