Pulling Diagnostic Codes

I replaced the V/C gaskets on my inlaws 95 Rodeo v6 3.2. Now 2 weeks later her chk engine light goes on at highway speed then goes off. Drives fine with no problems.

Is there a way of pulling the codes from the computer?

Grateful for any help ...
