Losing Power

My 95 rodeo all of the sudden has lost a ton of power. Wants to die when I take off , engine light comes on when I'm going up a hill and all of the sudden it loses power. I changed plugs rotary cap and fuel filter. nothing worked ,could this be the o2 sensor? It just started happening all of the sudden. THanx for help.
