Rodeo bottoming out

I'm new to this forum. I have a 93 2X Rodeo. I have been chasing a problem for a while now. What's happening is that when I go over a valley gutter or any dip in the road it sounds and feels like the back end is going to fall out.The factory shocks wore out fast so I tried Dick Cepek shocks . They lasted for a while . Then I went to Rancho 5000 shocks and now those have gone bad.I still have the Cepek shocks on front and have lasted up to 6 years.
So I pose the question of ; Has any one else had this same problem ? What has been done to correct this? Does any one else make a good shock or suspension kit for this year? I would like to get this fixed right this time so any help would be greatly apreciated.
