Oil Filter Adapter

I have a remote oil cooler and filter set up on my 392. What I don't like about it is the spin-on adaptor on the stock oil filter assembly. It is prone to leaking from the 0-ring and is very cramped between the engine mount and the block. I want to replace the stock filter assembly with an adaptor machined from a piece of thick aluminum bar stock that will bolt directly to the block itself.

My question: does anyone have the dimensions of the stock mounting surface on the block. I think it is the same for the 304/345/392, maybe even the 196. I need the spacing between the bolts and the oil supply/return ports?
