Does anyone know what sort of fuel mileage to expect from a two barrel holley projection on a 345 Scout II? Would it be worth the hassle & expense? I'm researching the possibilities of making my Scout an affordable daily driver but I'm on a budget just like most everyone.Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Holly Pro-jection

depending on your gear ratio and tire size, most Full Size Jeep owners get about 14 mpg in town, and up to 20 mpg highway with 360 and 401 V8s.
Check out http://www.partsamerica.com (where I work in one of their stores) for part #502-20S and you'll need high pressure fuel line and an electric fuel pump up to doing EFI pressures.
It will be around $800 for the whole gig. If you have a catalytic converter, get a high flow one (non-aerobic from Summit or someplace), and get rid of the AIR pump and those ancient systems. Just keep the carbon vapor cannister (so you don't smell gas when 4x4ing)
