Scout II seatbelts
I recently gained access to a 1980 Scout II for winter driving in MT. Is it possible or advisable to install a shoulder-style seatbelt in the car? It has a waist belt now. Thanks for your help.

Re: Scout II seatbelts
I would think that if you went to junk yard you could get what you needed out of a Blazer or Bronco and bolt it in to your truck with out much trouble. If you go this route make sure you get both ends of the seat belts.

Re: Scout II seatbelts
I Have never heard of a bolt in switch from a blazer or bronco. I'm not saying it can't be done, I'm just saying that I've never heard about it. In fact if it can be done, I'd like to know how so I could do it myself. Right now a roll bar or cage is just not in my budget. I have heard that you need to buy a roll bar or cage to do this. Then you can buy a kit or rig something up depending on you knowledge of vehichles.
