Spark Plug Gap

I just got my 74' Scout2 with the AMC straight 6. Can someone tell me what the gap on the spark plugs are?

Re: Spark Plug Gap

The 6-232, and the 6-258, are timed at TDC with a point gap of .019 with new points and .016 with old points. The dwell is 31* to 34* and Champion RN-14Y or Champion RN-12Y are set at .035. Hope this helps. This is a great forum. Good luck. Reclusej
