My '72 is running great. My only concern is that when I make right hand turns I can hear and feel and soft pop or thud. I feel it under my feet but I'm not sure where it really is. Once it pops on the right turn and I turn left whatever it is moves back into place with another pop. This dosen't happen on left turns (If I'm on a straight road and turn left no pop). I'm not noticing any performance problems related to this but I want to fix it before something breaks. Anyone know what's going on???

Re: thump!!!!

If the bushings in the springs are worn it will cause what you describe. The left rear end of the left front spring is by your left foot.
