Door sag & engine questions

Does anyone know the best way to cure a sagging door on a Scout II?

Also, when I start my Scout up in the morning (it's cold here ~30's & 40's), it runs for about 15 to 20 seconds and then shuts off. Once I restart it, it's fine, but I'd prefer to start it only once!

I'd appreciate any advice anyone can give me!

Re: Door sag & engine questions

Most door sagging problems actually come from the front body mount rusting (located under the drivers and passenger fee)t.Once the body mount starts to rust it lowers the corner of the truck.when you lift up the door to close it all of the wieght of the corner previously supported by the body mount is carried on the door hinge. As you could imagine this causes the hinge to ware out and the door to sag even worse

you can adjust the door with the hinges to get it to close better but the real fix is to replace the front body mount and floor section
