Is a scout 800 gas tank 19 gal?

I am just wondering cuz i have seen in catalogs as them being 9 and 19 so, please reply

An old owners manual I was looking at listed it as 9 gallons (nine). There might be 800 Series aftermarket tanks that are 19 gal.

they are 9 you can get 10 in them I have had 5 scout from the 60's and I now drive a 68 800

Yea they are 9 but you can sqeeze 10 in. I have a 67 800 with the 266 and one tank right now kinda fun when you drive far!

Yes I know what you mean I drove from Sonora Ca. To hot Augest nights in Reno,Nv. Glad I brought that 5 gal can with me. I do have 2 tanks but the right has a leak, so I pulled it out to fix it I need to get that thing back in soon.
