Using a 3/4 ton pick up frame

Does anyone know if I can put my 78 Scout Traveller onto a '75 3/4 ton IH pick-up frame? I know the Traveller wheel base is longer then the normal scout, but I do not know if this will require any major modifications or if it will even fit on the pick up frame. There is a complete 3/4 pick up for sale a few cities away, and I am considering guying it for parts - mainly drivetrain. But, I may also consider starting my frame up restoration using the pick up frame and then dropping my body onto it. Just thought I'd check here to see if anyone had an idea. The suspension on my Traveller is pretty rough, so either way I'll have to start from scratch....
