Hello

Hello, I read the posts a few times but ever signed up.
Bought my first Scout in 75 and it's a 74.
I bought another a few years back also a 74. I spend this last summer rebuilding the body. It runs great, less than 100,000 miles, but the body looked like hell rust, holes, etc. It's just about really for the paint shop.
I got pictures but none posted. I'm a retired auto mechanic and a welder so this has been a fun project, ever did must in body work. But lucky to a friend that had a body shop at one time, ever get to old to learn new ticks.

Riolobo They ever make a better 4x4 than a scout.

Re: Hello

Bindernut,
You right on that, I would also buy a new one. I drove my first one up to 146,000 mile as a everyday runner. The only reason I parked it. Was I took out the reverse in the auto tranny after hooking on to a 300 gallon water tank full of water to flip it over. Did not put it in 4 wheeldrive I just step on it. I was mad at the old lady. I hoping to go back to my place in California this Spring and pick it up.
