New Seats

I need some new bucket seats that don't make my back go into spasm's. I've looked at the caribou brand, even though they look nice, I can't afford them right now. Anyone now of a good manufacture that doesn't hurt my wallet? Thanks

Re: New Seats

I used Best Top's Trail Max high bucket seats. They were the no frills model (i.e., they don't recline) and ran me $120 apiece. They are very firm and comfortable and provide a lot of support. They're designed for a Jeep, so you would probably have to modify your base to mount them in the Scout.

Re: New Seats

If you're any good at fabricating/making stuff, you could just go to a junk yard, and pick out 2 seats that feel comfy to you. I plucked 2 reclining buckets w/ driver's being 8-way power for $80/pair. I just welded the seat brackets to the vehicle brackets and I was in business.
Good luck,
Mike

Re: New Seats

JUNK YARD!!!

EASY TO FIT AND COMFY...GET SEATS FROM AN IZUSU TROOPER...THEY RAN ME $40 EACH.

THEY ARE NOT AS WIDE (PROBLEM!!!) AS MOST I TRIED (CARAVAN SEATS), AND THEY ARE GREAT!
