Gas Lines etc

OK I pulled the tanks off the 64 scout model 80. The tanks are in good shape but the fuel lines are not. Is there a Gas line set for the dual tank system including the valve switch. I also will need new sensors and gas caps. And to clarify my previous post. Is there a book that has been published concerning the history of Scouts and changes year to year.

Re: Gas Lines etc

First, I believe there is a book out there... I don't have it or know where you can get it to the valve... You can probobly do the fuel lines much cheaper by just getting fuel line (or rubber fuel hose) and a valve on your own... I also imagine you wouldn't have to have only an IH valve either, maybe use a ford, gm or mopar piece. Doing your own fuel line can make it take a better routing. I put a new (to me) tank in my '78 scout too and did the fuel line while I was at it... now it follows the frame instead of going out along the edge of the body right under the passenger door.... good luck
