71 scout fuel system.

I recently boght a 72 scout ii. I am trying to figure out what all of the ports on the side of the gas tank are supposed to go to. any ideas?

Most are vents or go to the evap canister that was in the rear corner panel. You can block them all off and run the tank without worry. This is provided the vent line that is next to the fill line (3/4" diameter IIRC) is still connected.

The stock repair manual (~$80 from binderbooks.com) will have the exact detail you need. Or do a search over at Binderplanet. It's been posted up there several times.

Thanks for the advice. It seems that the po bypassed the liquid vapor seperator. I got it worked out.
