Question Spring Over Conversion

Hey Guys, Just got a 79 Scout II with 2 inch Lift and 33 inch tires... the damn thing is beautiful! however I want to do one more thing to it to call it complete! I want to do a spring Over Conversion on the Lift and Put 35s on there. My question is about the front drive shaft! will I have to replace it? it is very small, and how much am I lookin to spend if I got it professionally done? Just wondering.

This topic has come up time and time again on a couple different forums. Your stock shaft *may* work, but your better off going to a CV style driveshaft that you can get from a pick & pull, then get shortened at a driveline shop. Typically a couple hundred for that work. Do a search for "SOA" at Binder planet, you'll find the information you seek.
