Fuel system problem

Just joined the forum today. Have a 1976 Scout II, 345. Electronic ignition. Ran great for two years, Started up one day, wouldn't the next. Had to really work gas peddal to get it to start. It would struggle for a minute, with constant support and stop. Getting backfire occasionally through carb (2 BBL). Replaced fuel filter and fuel pump with no change in symtoms. Anyone have thoughts on where to go next, short of replacing carb, which I'll do of course? COuld a ignition key cylnder cause erratic electrical problems, like turn signals working once, not the next key turn, side markers, etc?

Startup Problem

Turned out to be Carb butterfly plate. Bad ignition key does make a difference, too.
