Dana 44 axle shafts in Dana 30 housing?

Hi, I have a CJ7 with Scout axles under it. Actually, I have the 44 rear and 30 front. The R&P borke and I was wondering if I could put the pumking and axles of a 44 in the 30 housing? Is it possible, or just absurd?

If I have to find the complete 44, are some better than others?

Thanks.

No, you can't do it. A D30 is different than D44.

I don't know? Web wheeling has made me lose my way a bit.
