Re: \'56 4x4 pick-up worth?
Just a note, I have a '56 S120 4x4 that ran the last time it had a battery in it, 1985. It has sat in the weeds behind my Dad's barn until he died and we sold the place. Now it is in a storage yard in North Denver.
When we brought it over from the Western Slope we also brought a '79 F250 with no engine from which we pulled the axles, a Dana 44 and a Dana 60, along with the transmission and transfer case.
When it was parked it had bad rims and a broken brake drum and I haven't been able to find reasonably priced replacements. After a couple of other projects are done, I am going to retro-fit it with the Ford parts and a 351 Windsor.
I am scared about loosing the windshield, though. Glass in Colorado is an expendable item.
Do good work and keep in touch.
