Extended Brake lines

I am in search of extended brake lines and braided brake lines (if I can more money). I know there are some out there, but also I would like to know if they are bolt-on or is there modification needed. Thanks

Re: Extended Brake lines

I got mine at a local shop that sells braided lines and fittings (I believe they're Earl's brand - many speed shops carry
them). I took in one of my old brake lines, and they gave me a combination of hoses and fittings that fit without
modifications.

Later,
Curt

Re: Extended Brake lines

"The "best" part for the rear brakse was the Wagner part listed for the
rearend. 8" over stock.

The Ford E350 van (I used an 85) rear line works just fine, too. Just
put a washer on the breather bolt to hold it snug against the axle
housing.

I just received some Skyjacker braided stainless steel DOT approved
front brake lines from http://www.BackCountryBinders.com for the front -
I need to install 'em still and do a front brake job."

This was the response from Tom Mandera as to brake lines to fit my 1978, but i think its same for them all.... BackCountryBinders has for both front and rear
