I am the proud owner of a 79 345 scout II and reciently the old girl has developed a habbit of taking a long time to warm-up.It allso stalls if I don't let it get really hot.She has been stalling on the road & this is bad.I have been tweeking the idel/mix hopping that might be it but to no avail.WHAT GIVES?

take the air cleaner off and see if the automatic choke is working, but that would only be for until it got warm.. not really hot, check a couple of spark plugs and maybe rebuild the carb? (it's not too dificult, although you have to buy the rebild kit first (<$10) or you can just use carb cleaner and see if it helps any
