Well it's time for an off-road.com non-sanctioned trip to Gold Lake Road/ James
Creek Road in Jamestown CO. The date of this trip will be on April 30th, 2000. And we will meet at the parking area for the running path / Foothills Park along Lee Hill RD. just west of Broadway in Boulder at 9AM. This trail is moderate trail and makes for a good family trip. The trail has several turn offs that can get a little harder but nothing that you couldn't handle with a basic 4x4. Below I put a link of a trip review from Colorado-XJ mailing list with an unknown author. (tell me who wrote this and I'll give due credit)
We may encounter some left over snow and it will be a little colder in the hills you may want to prepare for wet/cold conditions. I ran this trail in march after a fresh snow, and at that time a factory 4x4 made it through. This trail is not a busy trail so we can take the time and try some of the side obstacle's if you wish to. If you are interested, hope to see-ya then.
Not sure if it is, I don't think so. Also, I am not sure this is definately the exact trail we are going on. A friend sent the meesage to me and asked me to get the word out. Should be a fun trip regardless though.
