Twin Stick

Does anyone know what years of Scout used the twin stick on the Dana 20 transfercase?

Re: Twin Stick

Twin sticks are strictly aftermarket add-ons.

Oops. I sometimes forget there were Scouts before 1971.

Re: Twin Stick

Some Dana 20s came with a twin stick already on them, they are a easy swap to a Dana 300. Another way is to use a Currie twin stick coversion, which you can get through 4 wheel part wholesalers and from Currie Enterprises. Yes the old Scout 800 had twin sticks which I believe were Dana 18s and 20s.

Re: Twin Stick

The currie kit requires a little bit of modification to work in a Scout II - if you leave the levers straight, they
hit the dash. You need to either bend or cut and weld to a 35 or 40 degree angle.

Later,
Curt
