Broken ignition switch

When I dropped my 73 T'All off at the transport place, to have it shipped to me, the person who picked up the truck from me broke the ignition switch. Apparently they turned the key too far when shutting it off and now the key spins around in circles, its mounted in the dash next to the cigarette lighter. It takes some high end fiddling to get it started. Once started, I have a bunch of electrical anomalies. The blinkers and brake lights don't work right. If I do some more fiddling with the key, I can get everything working correctly except the brake lights (when you activate the turn signal, the opposite side brake light quits working). Since everything was working before the ignition switch was broken, I'm quite certain any current electrical anomalies are related to the switch. Do you know where I can
find an ignition switch? I took apart the dash, they look pretty simple to put in, have you done it? Are they all fairly alike?

Re: Broken ignition switch

You can purchase just about anything you need from a place who bought up ALL of the International inventory from every dealer in the U.S. and Canada when the Scout Division went out of business. They have contracted various vendors to manufacture some of the items that there was no stock of and popular selling items. They are Super Scout Specialists 5550 Old Lower Valley Pike, Springfield, Ohio 45506 (937) 882-6464 fax (937) 882-9273
