Lift Kits

Well I just received my tax money and I am ready to start looking at suspension lifts, but I can't figure out what is the better buy, quality, Triangle springs, Softride Skyjacker, Trailmaster lift, etc... I am looking for a four inch lift with shocks and all. I could really use the help and info, Thanks.

Re: Lift Kits

The subject of lift kits for Scout II's has been a hot topic of discussion at times on the Internet. I've read comments about two lifts in particular, Triangle and Skyjacker. The consensus from what I've read is clearly that Skyjacker gives a great ride but sits low in the rear, even in an unloaded Scout II, requiring extended shackles or add-a-leaves to level out. Triangle sits high in the rear. I've not read negative comments about Triangle but the ride is stiffer than Skyjacker. Most everyone seems to like both, with the exception I've noted about each. I can't comment on any of the others, but here's the address for Erick Foor's web page (East Coast Scout Parts) with his comments about the different lifts available for Scout II's:

No affiliation. Hope this helps.
