Scout Info.

I just saw a Scout today and it has a 8cyl engine, the t-case has twin stick
shifter(like the old jeeps), the axles look like jeep axles too as the rear
is a two piece axles like the old jeep CJs. I went to the scout page but could
find what options of axles was available from factory and I need to know
as I am buying it just for the axles. Any info will be appreciated.

Re: Scout Info.

i do know they had positive traction (called trac-lock) for the rear axle as that is what is in my '78 scout, i imagine of course there were others like open end and limited slip...

Re: Scout Info.

What year is the vehicle? Is it a Scout 80, 800, or Scout II? This will go a long way in determining what axles it has.
