parting out 79 Scout II
I have access to a 79 Scout. The body is trash, (been rolled). Rear-end is already gone. It had the V8, so I have the Dana 44, disc brake front end. It is complete from hub to hub. There is also the auto tranny with the transfer case. This did look to have the 2 speed transfer case. There were two shift "rails" going into the transfer case. pardon my Scout ignorance. I have never ridden in this truck. So I make no claim on anything, especially an auto tranny. I don't really think I can get much else. The truck is laying on it's top. Kind of makes it hard to get to. I am in Nederland, Texas. I am not really prepared to ship something like a front-end now. If interested let me know.

Re: parting out 79 Scout II
Does the liftgate (I assume trashed overall) have an intact T-handle? It's a pretty small part...I just need one that'll actually lock (the lock mechanism on mine's busted; froze up (and the cylinder's actually missing)). If so, how much? Thanks!

Re: parting out 79 Scout II
I would be interested in the steering wheel, if it's still in-tact.
