torque specs and tightening sequence

I am replacing my 196 4 cyl head with a 345 head. Need to know bolt tightening sequence
and torque specifications. , as well as valve adjustments.

Re: torque specs and tightening sequence

First.. there's no valve adjustment. It's a hydraulic lifter setup that auto-adjusts.

Second.. I don't recall the correct spec off the top of my head - it's in my factory service manual (which are still available new, BTW).

But it's something like top center/bottom center, top left-of-center, bottom-r-o-c, bottom l-o-c, top r-o-c.

Then it goes to the outer bolts.. I think it starts bottom-left, top right, top left, bottom right.. but no guarantees.

Heads go to 90 or 100lbs-ft.
