roof rack

so i'm thinkin on buildin a roof rack. 2 problems, sub is already 7' or so and fitin under some of the drive-ins its a little tight. slatons a small town. the other problem is center of gravity might be an issue. i can't carry a spare in back( lost one of the back windows on a dirt road. that hurt the wallet. i've got some 5/8 suare cold roll steal at the shop, or i could go with 1/2 " tubbing. hell don't fit in the goarge at home and cant fit in the shop at work so let me know what you think.

I don't think the high center of gravity would be a big issue unless you had a lot of weight up there. Not sure what size tires you have now, but lifting a big spare tire all the way onto the roof can be quite a task. I just keep my spare strapped down in the back of my burb.

right now 33's movin up to 35's as soon as i candeal out the cash. the only problem with monting it to the back is theres to many sticky fingers in lubbock. but your right trying to put a muddy torn tire on top is a pain.
