need help with 8" lift please

puttin an 8" lift on my 79 K10 shortbed, put in a cucv dana 60 front axle, superlift springs/w degree shims attached and skyjacker transfer case drop and still my driveshaft won't articulate enough to line up, I would rather not add degree shims until I get to check the caster and can't afford to have the axle cut and turned, can i modify the stock cv for more clearance or will this just cause rapid u joint wear? I know there are lots of trucks out there with this combo,, whats the secret?????

there are alot of trucks out there pavement pounding with that much lift and no front driveline.

it takes alot of work to do it right. what kinda steering do you have lined out . youl need at least a highsteer setup up raised up alot and dropped pitman to make up the rest.

i run about 3-4" lift and raised steering arm and i still need more. and believe it or not guys run 3-4" of lift with no steering corrections.
